Must give us Paws…and some ducks
Some of you may have noticed that May 1st has already come and gone (I hope you had a great day). You may have also noticed that we did not, in fact, launch our Kickstarter campaign on that day. We’ve discovered what a substantial undertaking it really is. In fact, one filmmaker who ran a successful campaign wrote that it took 18 months to prepare for a successful 30 day campaign. We’ve only been working on it for a few months. So we’re going to pause our launch until June 1st to get all our ducks in a row and all paws on deck to create a campaign that really flies and pounces!
As we’re preparing for the campaign we’re receiving some absolutely priceless home videos from YOU about why play matters to you, how you like to play and why you’re supporting this film. Thank you so much for your contributions. We’ll cut them into a piece for our Kickstarter page, posting them on our FB page and adding them to a gallery of play on this website soon. So keep them coming and stay tuned. I will, of course, let you know when they’re here.
I also want to thank those dedicated and well-networked souls who have stepped up as volunteers for the campaign. I’ve add your names to the Team Page!
